DESCRIPTION
I've been drawn to water lilies for over twenty years, and I know exactly why. Monet is my all-time favorite artist, and he was obsessed with them. His obsession became my obsession.
I can't deny how beautiful they are, or what they represent. To me they're about our connection to something more than what we just see — and about stillness. If you're on a spiritual journey and you're drawn to peaceful, meditative art, water lilies tend to find their way in.
This piece is also about hope and new beginnings. This beautiful pink water lily is slowly opening itself up and blooming, seeing the possibilities, much like how we can bloom as human beings when we believe in ourselves, surround ourselves with a solid support system and feel seen by others. Sometimes the hardest thing is even not giving up and to keep going.
This painting is a reminder of your potential, the many possibilities of what you can obtain in life and what you are completely capable of when you actively align in your path—regardless of what is in your way and any resistance. It is a reminder to not give up and to keep going. Everything you ever wanted is around the corner...waiting to be claimed.
