"Lonely Lotus" Art Print of Pink Lotus Soft Pastel Painting

DESCRIPTION
I called her Lonely Lotus. One flower, alone on her stem, no others beside her.

But the longer I spend with her, the less I think "lonely" and the more I am thinking an introvert that prefers her own company. She's not incomplete. She's simply herself, fully — the same way a person can stand alone in a room and not need anyone beside them to feel whole. This painting is for all those introverts out there.

If you've ever been questioned as to why you seem to prefer isolation to a room full of people, made to feel like that's not normal, forced into situations you didn't prefer to appease others, or maybe people have let you down too many times, this painting is a reminder that no one knows you better than yourself.

Being alone isn't always isolation or loneliness. Sometimes it's just what's left when you finally know exactly who you are, and you realize you like your own company best.

MADE TO ORDER
Archival fine art giclée print of an original soft pastel painting, printed on 200gsm archival matte paper with a subtle watercolor texture. Each print includes a clean white border, sized to fit standard frames — no mat required.
